RED & WHITE CLUB: RED
Pagos De Haraz
This Crianza from the Navarra region in north central Spain on the boarder of France. 30% Tempranillo, 30% Merlot, 20% Syrah and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Each grape varietal is processed separately in French or American oak barrels. After that, the selection of the final ‘coupage’ that will evolve in the bottle, where it will rest for several months before going on sale. All of the varietals come from the Pagos de Araiz estate, covering a total of 240 hectares of estate vineyards of on average 20 years of age and grown on rolling slopes of sandy silt soil with pebbles. Aromas of ripe red fruit, plums, raisins and preserves with a slight balsamic touch. Medium to full bodied on the palate and redolent of dark berries with a touch of vanilla and cedar.
RED & WHITE CLUB: WHITE
#ono Sauvignon
The white this month is #ono Sauvignon, from the town of Chinon in the Loire Valley, France. #ono is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, organically farmed with vines are planted in soils composed of mainly clay & limestone, which happens to be absolutely perfect for Sauvignon Blanc. Harvested by hand and gently pressed via pneumatic press. Spontaneous fermentation occurs in temperature controlled stainless steel with regular stirring of the lees. Aged for for four months on the lees and an additional six months in bottle before release. Notes of lemon, grapefruit, asian pear, guava, tangerine and papaya framed minerals. Ideal with oysters and all shell fish. The Cabernet Franc from this producer was a huge hit last year with members.

E Class a Gran Reserve Malbec
Along with the Red from the Red & White club you’ll also be receiving a Willamette Valley Oregon Pinot Noir! From the famed Willamette Valley which put Oregon wine on the map starting in the 80’s, the region shares many similarities to Burgundy in France, from climate to rich limestone soil. Fruit forward with complex and extracted plum and raspberry, lip smacking acidity is anchored by balanced tannin and some darker fruit complementing the brighter berry tones. A lengthy and elegant finish ends with hints of white pepper, clove,and black tea.
